Business Analyst - AirCargo Industry
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with hands-on experience in air cargo project implementation to join our dynamic global team. In this role, you'll bridge business needs and technical delivery, leading end-to-end project execution—from implementation and user training to testing, go-live, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of air cargo projects using e-CARGOWARE's FR8Manage platform, including requirements gathering, configuration, customization, and deployment for Airlines, GSAs, GSSAs, and GHAs.
- Participate in requirement gathering and GAP Analysis evaluation process, Contribute to Vendors Pre-Sales Process like RFP/RFI/RFQ.
- Conduct comprehensive end-user training sessions (virtual and on-site), creating tailored materials to ensure smooth adoption and maximize platform ROI.
- Manage go-live activities, including cutover planning, data migration, hyper care support, and post-launch optimization to minimize disruptions.
- Perform rigorous testing (UAT, SIT, EUT & regression) of software features, integrations (e.g., APIs with booking systems, Financials, Power BI), and workflows to ensure compliance with industry standards like IATA, One Record, WCA, and security protocols.
- Analyze business processes, document workflows, and recommend improvements for cargo operations such as booking, AWB management, revenue optimization, and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, sales, support) and clients to resolve issues, track project timelines, and deliver within scope using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Provide ongoing support, including troubleshooting, change management, and knowledge transfer for upgrades or new modules.
- Stay updated on air cargo trends, regulations, and technologies to enhance implementation strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Aviation Management, or related field; Master's or certifications (CBAP, PMP, or air cargo-specific like IATA Cargo) .
- 3-5+ years in business analysis or implementation roles within air cargo/logistics software (experience in any Air Cargo software or similar platforms is a plus).
- Proven track record in air cargo project delivery, including training, testing, and go-live for stakeholders in Airlines, GSAs, GSSAs, or GHAs.
- Strong knowledge of air cargo systems, Air cargo operations and Implementation of Software relating to Air Cargo Industry.
- Excellent communication skills for training diverse end-users and stakeholder management; ability to travel for on-site implementations.
- Placement will compulsorily be in India (Chennai) Development center.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Jira/Confluence, and testing tools; familiarity with any Automation of testing, Using AI for best advantageous.
- Crafting high-quality documentation such as User Manuals, SRS, and SOW., Capturing and diagramming process flows, Supporting the Development team throughout the enhancement lifecycle.
- Proactive problem-solver with a customer-centric mindset and ability to handle tight deadlines in a global, 24/7 industry.
